Entering Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., located in Yuanhong Investment Zone, the reporter saw that the production line with an annual output of 100000 tons of clean methanol gasoline and 20000 tons of alcohol-based liquid fuel is in tight operation in the fully automatic modern plant area where reaction tanks, storage tanks and numerous pipelines are densely connected. At the same time, production workshops for refining diesel oil from waste engine oil and other waste oil have also been built.
Faced with the continuous rise of oil prices and the shortage of oil resources, how to find renewable new clean energy has become the bottleneck of the development of energy industry and automobile industry. Relying on the technical strength of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Fuzhou University and the petrochemical enterprises in the province, Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. began to explore new energy very early.
"We have spent 10 years, through more than 3000 sets of experiments and tests, finally selected methanol gasoline as an alternative fuel, and developed a core additive, which has successfully solved the problems of power, cold start, corrosion, swelling, phase separation resistance and gas resistance," said Li Longmei, the inventor of the technology, the company's technical director and professor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Fuzhou University.
It is understood that methanol gasoline is a kind of clean fuel for vehicles, which is prepared by strict process with methanol and core additives added in a certain proportion in the national standard unleaded gasoline for vehicles. It is a low-carbon product methanol that promotes energy conservation, emission reduction and circular economy. It can be produced by coal, natural gas, coke oven gas, coalbed methane and synthetic gas of nitrogen chemical enterprises, or by biomass fermentation or thermal cracking, which is convenient for large-scale development, and the price is less than one-third of the price of gasoline. As an alternative fuel, its economic benefits are very considerable. In addition, methanol gasoline is significantly superior to ordinary gasoline in terms of power, cleanliness, energy consumption and environmental protection.
M30 methanol gasoline developed by Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. is prepared by adding 30% methanol into ordinary gasoline, and then adding core additives independently developed by the company. At present, this type of methanol gasoline has passed the inspection of Fujian Provincial Petroleum Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Station, the National Professional Laboratory for Automobile Power and Emission Testing and the National Petroleum Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and all meet the national III gasoline standard. M30 methanol gasoline can be mixed with ordinary fuel at will, and can be widely used in taxis, buses and private cars.
Compared with M15 methanol gasoline, the M30 produced by Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. increases the content of methanol, which is more economical and energy-saving. It does not need to change the car engine like the high proportion of methanol gasoline, and does not affect the user's choice of cars.
As a new thing, M30 methanol gasoline still faces great challenges. Since the car owners do not know about methanol gasoline and are used to using traditional petrochemical gasoline, how to let them change their traditional concepts and adopt new fuels has become the focus of the current work of Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. Now, the company mainly uses low-cost sales and free gifts to let some car owners know about methanol gasoline, a new fuel.
"With this kind of oil, the power performance is good, the speed is faster, and running the highway can save about 4% of the fuel consumption, which can save the car owners' fuel costs, and also make the city's sky more blue." Yu Ping, the chairman of Zhongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., said that the company will further expand its production capacity, and plan to build a production line with an annual output of 300000 tons of clean methanol gasoline. After putting into production, the annual output value is expected to reach 1.5 billion yuan, and the annual emission of harmful gases can be reduced by more than 4200 tons.
