It is understood that Jiangxi Haohai Petrochemical Fuel Oil Co., Ltd. is a new energy enterprise introduced by Leping City in response to the economic construction of Poyang Lake Ecological Zone, and is also the first high-tech enterprise in Jiangxi to engage in the large-scale and industrialized production of clean methanol (diesel) oil for vehicles and various alcohol ether fuel oils. They developed and produced No. 93 and No. 97 clean methanol gasoline (M15) and No. 0 methanol diesel for vehicles, which not only filled the gap in Jiangxi Province, but also reached the international advanced level in production technology. The total investment of the company's new projects is about 110 million yuan, and the annual output of methanol and gasoline is 300000 tons. The first phase of the project can produce 100000 tons of methanol steam (diesel) oil annually, with an output value of 900 million yuan and a tax revenue of more than 6 million yuan.
At present, the company's leading product is No. 93 clean methanol gasoline for vehicles, with a unit price of 7.06 yuan per liter, which is 0.4 yuan cheaper than ordinary gasoline. No. 97 methanol gasoline and No. 0 methanol diesel will also be put on the market in succession. "After the trial production of qualified products, it has sold about 10 tons at present. In the past month, more than 120 cars in Leping have changed to 'drink' methanol gasoline on the road." Zheng Zhiyi, a staff member of the sales department of Jiangxi Haohai Petrochemical Fuel Oil Co., Ltd., told reporters.
Cheng Chengcai, chairman of Jiangxi Haohai Petrochemical Fuel Oil Co., Ltd., said: "As the first methanol gasoline production enterprise in the province, we are very optimistic about the industry prospects." He also said that compared with ethanol gasoline, methanol gasoline has more obvious advantages in price and production. At present, the price of No. 93 ordinary gasoline is 9916 yuan/ton, methanol is 2500-3000 yuan/ton, and ethanol is about 6800 yuan/ton. Similarly, when mixed with gasoline, the raw material cost of ethanol gasoline is more than twice that of methanol gasoline. In addition, ethanol mainly comes from grain and other crops, with a single source of materials. Once the disaster and production reduction occur, the source of raw materials will become a problem. Methanol is a by-product of chemical fertilizer, pharmaceutical, coal and other industries, and can also be synthesized from chemical raw materials. It is cheap, has a wide range of sources, and will not compete with the people for food.
Cheng Chengcai said that the biggest obstacle to the promotion of methanol gasoline at present is the imperfect market access mechanism, the imperfect national standards and the insufficient policy impetus. Another bottleneck is that there is no sales network. "There is no market for methanol gasoline to export, and it is also very difficult to enter the gas stations of Sinopec and PetroChina for sales. The cost of self-construction in terms of capital and time is too high, and the approval process is also extremely difficult." He also said that since the product was put into production, their company can only sell the product through the relatives and friends of the employees first, and let the driving school try it at a lower price. "We are negotiating cooperation with 13 private gas stations in Leping to make methanol gasoline enter the market as soon as possible."
It is reported that Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong and other provinces and cities have included the pilot promotion of methanol gasoline in government work. In particular, Shanxi Province has become one of the regions with the fastest promotion and application of methanol gasoline and the largest scale. It has summarized more systematic technical regulations and management methods for the storage, corrosion, safety of methanol fuel and the operation, scheduling, maintenance and troubleshooting of methanol vehicles. Huang Guanghui, New Energy Department of Jiangxi Provincial Energy Bureau, said in an interview that it is expected to take about two years for Jiangxi Province to promote methanol gasoline in the province. "We are worried that due to the lack of access mechanism in the past, it is impossible to restrict the production of enterprises, which will lead to overcapacity in the future. Therefore, we will definitely learn from Shanxi Province, which has successfully pilot projects, and gradually close the promotion of methanol gasoline in the province."
